I decided to start this group because it's hard to meet single people in the Vail Valley if you're not into the bar scene. The purpose of the group is to introduce people who are in their 30s and 40s to each other. Anyone who is single and is interested in activities should join.

This Meetup is for everyone over 40 who lives in or visits Summit County Colorado.  It is a way to meet new people and reconnect with those we already know.  We are a group of active, fun loving people who enjoy all that Summit - and Eagle - Counties have to offer.  We are not a singles group, couples are very welcome!  We love everyone under 40 too, but let's face it, life is different - not bad, just different - once you've driven by the 4-0 mile marker... Welcome to the Summit County Social Club, previously called the Newcomers.  Unlike its former name, this group is definitely not only for those new to the area. It is a social group, with a focus on introducing those that are new to Summit County to all that it has to offer. The group offers a very diverse set of activities.
