Hi I noticed that there is not a dog walking group set up for the Eastleigh area and thought it would be great to meet up with people who enjoy going on long walks with their dogs around this area, and the New Forest. It would be great to meet new people with similar interests and likewise would be a great opportunity for our dogs to have fun and make new friends too x x
Hello and welcome to NaFoF Yes, we are very aware that the name is rather grandiose, but it does reflect who we are - we are not taking ourselves too seriously (world domination will be our next step ).. What we are taking seriously is having fun and making friends with like-minded people. We're not like any random social club (in fact we don't call ourselves a social club, we're a multi-activity club and) you'd really have to come and visit us to see for yourself. Granted, we might scare you of …

Would you like to support your local arts centre? Are you a film lover and keen to meet new people? Join us once a month (ish) to watch a film and perhaps go for a cheeky beer after. Don't worry, we're not film experts. In fact if you ask me who's in what, I probably couldn't tell you. However I love watching movies and it's more fun going along with someone else! We support the following venues: The Ashcroft Centre in Fareham, No6 Cinema in the Dockyard, Portsmouth, Harbour Lights in Southamp …

This is a Social Group for Graduates and Professionals in the Salisbury & New Forest area aimed at people in their 30s and 40s Events will include regular pub / club nights, meals out, comedy events, live music, theatre trips and maybe the odd walk / bike ride ( although I also run the New Forest Adventurers for that purpose - maybe some events would be joint events between the groups) I set up this group as there are lots of Southampton and Bournemouth based social groups but not many that …

There are few book groups in the area but they seem to be quite spiritual and intellectual. This club is a chance for like minded people to meet and discuss any topic of book we like. Every month, the group will decide on which book to read and we will meet once a month to discuss what we thought.

We're a community of single parents who come together to meet, both with and without our children, to get and share ideas, meet other single parents and to provide friends for our children to socialise and play with. Any group member can propose and organise their own meetups, and this is positively encouraged as it's easy to put an activity that you would be doing anyway up as a meetup and then see if other people would like to join in. Typical meetups include Picnics, Cycle rides, The …
I decided to start the group because I really enjoy photography. There are so many photographic opportunities in Hampshire, Surrey and London but it is much more fun to visit these places and events with other keen photographers. The group is open to all ages, abilities and types of camera and we can learn from each other. It is an ideal place to meet new people and make new friends as well as having fun! We have lots of ideas already and initially suggest we aim for one Meet Up per month plus …

The group is primarily aimed at 25 to 45 year olds who enjoy reading books that typically appear in top 100 lists. We may do a few classics however the aim is to enjoy rathe …
